Dr. Jan Linhart of Park Avenue Dental in New York has developed and trademarked a laser whitening system called PEARLINBRITE. This system differs from other laser whitening  systems, as it utilizes two types of lasers and several types of specially formulated gels. Results are achieved in a two to three hour office visit. A pre-treatment examination is performed and any identified problems can be treated by Dr. Linhart. Following the PEARLINBRITE treatment, the patient is sent home with trays and solutions to follow up with for several weeks.

The trays are an optional procedure, although Dr. Linhart sometimes recommends them for tougher stained teeth.
